25th Anniversary Year:
25 Years of Making a Difference

National Ministries is the greater umbrella that covers three powerful ministries in Washington, D.C., the most important city in the world, our nation's capital. Imagine one organization where several thousand African-Americans, Anglos, Africans, Caucasians, Hispanics, Filipinos, Koreans and more than a dozen other ethnic groups join together to educate, train, worship and reach out to those living in the political center of the world. The motto of National Ministries is "Serving the Spiritual Needs of the Nation's Capital!" and, under the leadership of Bishop Stephen L. Lowery, these ministries are making a difference to the community through three entities:

National Church of God: "One People Worshiping One God," the slogan adopted by Bishop Lowery and the multi-cultural staff , aptly describes our ministry philosophy. National Church is determined to minister to the multi-ethnic, multi-generational, multi-economical population of this area and be a living example of a true New Testament church. "For they will know that you are my disciples because you love one another."

National Bible College and Seminary: "Training men and women...as if souls depend on it," is the driving principle of the National Bible College and Seminary. Since it's inception in 1983, the school has strived to educate men and women with the soul purpose of winning the lost to Christ. This adult education institution provides educational programs from Certificates of Biblical Studies to Doctoral Degrees. The school enrolls students from around the world, and also offers Online and Distance Learning programs.

National Christian Academy: "Preparing students for College, for Life and for Eternity" is the sole purpose of the National Christian Academy. N.C.A., also known as the Light on the Hill, provides an affordable, quality Christian education in a safe and loving atmosphere. Here, students from Pre-K to 12 th grade are prepared to face the educational, emotional and spiritual challenges of life. N.C.A.'s objective is to train students to have high spiritual moral values, excel in their academic pursuits, and live committed to Christ.
